Joyful Kids

Relax Kids Workshop

Does your child have a need to move all the time? Does he express his anger and/or stress as if he is losing control of himself? Is it hard for him/her to express him/herself?

This workshop consists of eight classes that will help your child to manage anxiety and stress whilst boosting self-esteem and confidence.

Each class includes a systematic way of facilitating relaxation and meditation techniques. Classes include dance, movement, drama, and relaxation games, stretching, peer massage, breathing, affirmations  and guided visualizations.

Individual classes or small groups.

What is Medita Kids?

It is a structured training program in body-mind awareness and meditation, specially designed for kids. Medita Kids Workshop was developed by Erika Schnoller. Its main source is  Biodynamic Meditation®, a fundamental pillar of Rasayana Ayurveda Wellness Method, developed by Graciela Schnoller. From an Ayurvedic point of view, each child will adopt the techniques that best suits him/her. We strongly recommend that parents take the meditation course for adults as well,  so as to encourage it as a family practice.

Little Chefs Workshop

Shall I take the risk and let him/ her participate in meal preparation? How chaotic may this get? What is a safe way to start doing this together?

Cooking together with our kids may be a lot of fun as well as a beneficial activity for them. We just need to choose the right recipe with appropriate tasks for their age, allowing them to experience and learn.

Our teaching staff is passionate about children, health and creative learning. Let us come to your home, provide the supplies and food, and we will guide your children along, sharing together the joy of preparing a healthy meal.

This workshop aims at creating a fun and delicious experience where we will learn the origins of our food, its properties, and the preparation of our meal. We encourage the interaction and participation of parents, caregivers, and children.

Ayurveda & Lifestyle Consultation

Do you always stick to your routine or do you lack routine at all? ? Do you like to sleep long hours in the morning or do you wake up at 6 am already to get started? Are you very fast at doing things or do you take your time? Are you naturally a demanding person with yourself and others, or are you naturally loving and caring with people around you?

This one-to-one Consultation will help you learn about your individual ayurvedic constitution (Dosha), your natural body mind tendencies as a whole, to be able to respect yourself and come back into harmony within and without. Together we will shed light on any factor in your daily routine which is bringing distress to your life and to your family.

Through this encounter we will work together through eating, sleeping, resting, exercise habits, building a personalized plan to achieve long-term well-being.

This Consultation is available face to face in Málaga and online. It does not replace medical supervision.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is an ancient art of healing which has been practiced in India since 5000 years ago. The etymology of the word Ayurveda, comes from Sanskrit, and ayur means life, and Veda means knowledge. The old rishis, or sages explain that Ayurveda, may be translated as “the science of life”, “The science of the long and healthy life”, “the art of living.”

The development of Ayurveda has been due to the rishis, old sages from India, who through deep meditation states, have understood how to establish harmony between the individual and the environment, and in this way they have realized how to use the fundamental energies from nature to promote a balanced physiology.

Through the signals of our mind-body, it is important to stop and carefully observe what is going on within our inner world and therefore produce necessary changes. When one changes, the whole experience will change.

Ayurveda gives us the tools for self-knowledge and self-acceptance, in order to start making these changes towards our own Self. Its main objective is to bring our inner harmony back, as well as a state of harmony with everything that surrounds us, bringing us back to our state of long-term joy and health.

What is Counseling?

Counseling, as Carl Rogers defined it, is an educational way of being with individuals, families, who are undergoing a state of personal, work or any type of dissatisfaction in his/her present life. It works in the “here and now”, and aims towards the client´s self-knowledge and personal growth.

The relationship between Counselor and Client in which these encounters are held is the foundation for the achievements of the client’s goals. The Counselor creates an ideal environment for client’s growth.  Within the context of Counseling relationship, we will seek to genuinely understand the client’s experience through empathy, unconditional positive regard. In this way this relationship facilitates the client’s openness to experience, working out difficulties, finding new creative ways to deal with them, and therefore achieving a state of inner bliss.

What is Biodynamic Meditation?

It is the main tool we use in JOYFUL KIDS. Biodynamic Meditation is based on Yoga and Ayurveda Psychology spiritual practices. Its overall purpose is to help create consciousness in order for the client to rediscover a joyful and healthy life.

Biodynamic Meditation, in this way, incorporates eastern and western tools such as, attention and focus at the present moment, breathing exercises, integral relaxation, mantras, visualization, art and music therapy. To be able to move along into deeper states of consciousness, we make use of the creative imagination and focused attention techniques.

The gradual incorporation of these techniques in our everyday life, brings self-acceptance, and an inner serenity state which later also manifests in all aspects of our everyday life. In this way we can contact our own sources of creativity and resources for everyday problem solving, in harmony with our own selves as well as with everyone and everything else that surrounds us.

Biodynamic Meditation is a system and fundamental pillar in RAW Method (Rasayana Ayurveda Wellness), which has been developed by Graciela Schnoller. Erika Schnoller, as an Certified Instructor of RAW method, facilitates different techniques and for each participant to experience and to facilitate a meditation practice that best suits him or her. We invite each person to witness, to be present to her/his body, thoughts, feelings, and so gradually begin a mindful path towards the realization of her/his Being.
